General Information
The objective of the International Conference on Power Systems Transients is to
provide a forum for the exchange of scientific and technical information related
to electromagnetic transients in electric power systems. The working language, including all printed materials, is English.
Host and Location
The conference was hosted by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
It was held at the Hotel Goria in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on June 24-28, 2001.
Technical Program Summary
The technical program included 27 sessions with 122 papers representing 33 countries.
